The Leatt DBX 3.0 helmet features Turbine technology, which is based on a series of circular discs that, inside the helmet lining, will become a more protection system for the cyclist in case of accident or receiving an impact. These protective discs have been developed with Armourgel, a material in charge of absorbing the energy of the impact; In addition, these pads are flexed by helping the helmet to rotate slightly around the head.

The adjustment system that incorporates the new Leat DBX 3.0 Enduro V2 is based on a magnetic lock called Fidlock that will keep the helmet in place preventing it from leaving in case of an accident, but at the same time is easily removable.

In terms of comfort, the fullface helmet Leatt incorporates 18 aeration channels spread over the surface of the helmet that will contribute to the rider having the best comfort during the training / competitions with the MTB bicycle.

What do we know about the Leatt brand?

Leatt is a well-placed brand in the market for MTB cycling protections. We found the beginnings of the Leatt brand in 2001 when Dr. Chris Leatt, a week after his son started riding, witnessed the death of his partner Alan Selby. As a result of this fateful accident, he began to design the first protective collars. It was three years later, in 2004 that Dr. Leatt sold the first item in South Africa.

The headquarters of LEATT is located in Cape Town. There, Dr. LEATT and his team of engineers and designers constantly develop and test the entire range of LEATT products. In 2008, the LEATT laboratory was officially created and is currently one of the most important in the world.

In addition to producing protective neck braces, Leatt has a wide range of safety features such as helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves or even hydration packs.
