3. Cookies and other technologies

A. What are cookies?

On the website corebicycle.com, cookies and similar technologies ("from now on") are used. Cookies are used to analyze the habits of users to continuously improve the services of corebicycle.com. In addition, advertisements based on the individual interests of users and the user's usage habits can be adjusted through cookies.   Cookies are text files that can be stored on the computer or smartphone of the visitor of a website, if allowed by the user's browser settings. In these text files, the information can be stored for further access through the website. The cookies contain information about the websites visited by the user, which the browser saves while browsing the Internet.   If the cookies are provided by the domain under which the website is hosted, we speak of our own cookies.   If a provider that is not the website's controller provides the cookies, we are talking about third-party cookies. The third party, usually an advertiser, uses these cookies to track a user's visits on all pages that show third-party ads, including corebicycle.com pages.   Cookies allow the user to be recognized when they visit the website again, and therefore, can be used for purposes such as ensuring that a user does not need to log in to a website again after logging in once. In addition, cookies are suitable for storing and transmitting information about the user's browsing behavior. Cookies are used to improve the quality of services, including the storage of user preferences, as well as to recommend content and search results, and to track user trends. As a result, the use of digital platforms can be evaluated and valuable knowledge about the needs of users can be obtained. This information helps ainomics to further improve the quality of their digital platforms.   Cookies can be viewed and deleted individually (for more details, see the following chapters). In addition, users can also disable cookies worldwide through the browser by selecting the appropriate browser settings.

B. What cookies does our website use?

Session cookies

Web sites often collect information about how users interact with them. This information can include the pages that users visit more frequently and if users receive error messages from certain pages. Ainomics uses the so-called "session state cookies" in order to improve our services in order to improve the browsing experience of users. If these cookies are blocked or deleted, the website will continue to work, although some functionality may be slightly affected.

Statistical analysis cookies

a) Google Analytics

Google Analytics | Google Ireland Ltd. is the analysis tool that helps website and application owners understand how visitors interact with their properties. This tool can use a set of cookies to collect information and provide statistics on the use of websites without personally identifying Google visitors. The main cookie used by Google Analytics is "_ga". In addition to providing website usage statistics, Google Analytics can also be used in conjunction with some of the advertising cookies described above to show more relevant ads on Google properties (eg, in Google search) and throughout the Web and to measure interactions with the ads we show. Ainomics uses google analytics with the activated pseudoanimization option.

Advertising cookies

Ainomics uses cookies to make advertising more attractive to users and more valuable to publishers and advertisers. Cookies are often used to select ads based on content that is relevant to a user, improve the performance reports of the campaign and avoid showing ads that the user has already seen.

a) Google Adsense / doubleclick.net / Youtube

Google uses cookies, such as NID and SID, to customize the ads that are displayed on their properties (eg, in the Google search engine). It also uses one or more cookies for the ads that are displayed throughout the website. One of our main advertising cookies on non-Google websites is called "IDE" and is stored in browsers in the doubleclick.net domain. Another is stored in google.com and is called ANID. It also uses other cookies called DSID, FLC, AID, TAID and exchange_uid. These cookies can also be used in other Google properties (eg, on YouTube) to show the user more relevant ads. In some cases, there may be a cookie enabled in the corebicycle.com domain. In the case of ads that google serves throughout the website, there may also be a cookie called "__gads" or "__gac". Unlike what happens with cookies enabled in their own domains, these cookies can not be read by Google when the user is on a website other than the site where they were established. Its functions consist, among other things, in measuring the interactions with the ads included in that domain and preventing the same advertising from being seen too many times. Google also uses several conversion cookies whose main purpose is to help advertisers determine the number of times people click on their ads end up buying their products. These cookies allow Google and the advertiser to determine that the user has clicked on the ad and has subsequently accessed the advertiser's website. However, conversion cookies only last for a limited period of time and Google does not use them to target personalized ads. You can also use some of the other Google cookies for the measurement of conversion events, for example, DoubleClick and Google Analytics.

C. Management and deletion of cookies in the browser / rejection of cookies

If you wish to block the source cookies of corebicycle.com or any other third-party cookie, we recommend that you do so globally by configuring your Internet browser. Cookies can be rejected or deleted by the appropriate configuration of the browser. In this case, however, it is possible that not all functions of our website are fully usable.

4. Storage period

Ainomics keeps the personal data only as long as it has the right to it and the reason for the treatment thereof has not expired. Once that period has passed, ainomics proceeds to eliminate them in the shortest possible time. In relation to cookies, you can know your exact storage period from your browser.
